Like n-1 "mie nai" silk, this might be the finest reeled silk commercially available (The weight of a silk coming out of one cocoon is usually approx. 6 denier, so this silk is created from just about 4-5 cocoons.).

What is even more unusual is that this is a naturally gold silk. The color will fade into a creamy yellow if you degum it or leave it under the sun for a long period of time.
